Jana has a strong bond with the Key River area,
as her grandfather (the painter) grew up
there, having arrived in 1932. She first
came to the area when she was a little girl of 3 years
old and was captivated by it.
She escapes to the family cottage on the Key River
with her husband and two children every chance she gets.
Dianne’s connection to Key Harbour
goes back to her grandparents
Jessie and Cos Lyte, who were the first owners of Key Harbour Lodge.
Dianne has been visiting the area since before she was born!
She enjoys exploring the river and the back bays on her orange kayak
or her SUP, accompanied by her loyal friend Marty the mutt.

Henvey Inlet since 1975, when they built a cottage there.
He assumed responsibility for the cottage 25 years ago and has been maintaining
it ever since.

He is also an active member of the Georgian Bay Association and functions as the KRAA's liason.

Kathy has been coming to the Key River Area since 1982.
Kathy’s father, Judge Glenn, had been coming to the area since the 1960s, and bought a share of Maybee Point.
Kathy loves spending time on Maybee Point, where she can admire the Bay and the natural beauty of the area.
Paul has a long history with the Key River area, as his father, the Mad Artist, lived there since 1932.
Paul’s grandmother ran the Michaud Inn, which later became Aalto’s Isle and then The Four Winns.
Paul has been coming to the area since he was a baby. Every summer, his family would move to the
Michaud Inn, and later, to their own cottage on the River. They would stay there until school
started again. Paul took over the responsibility for the cottage around 2003 and has been taking
care of it ever since. He tries to spend every weekend that the water is not frozen at the cottage on Key River,
with his daughter, son‑in‑law, two granddaughters, and the variety of dogs.
Paul is our Environmental Liason.
