Our organization has two purposes. First, we undertake local initiatives for the betterment of life in the area. These projects include the navigation buoys in the river, a children’s fishing derby, an annual picnic, a fish habitat program, fire pumps and an air ambulance helipad.
Second, we advocate for the area and its residents with all levels of government on topics of importance to our members, including water levels, government services, land use, etc.
