In Memoriam – Paul W. Ruston

Paul Ruston was for many years the only permanent resident in the Key River Area. His many years of service and contributions to the interests of the KRAA will be greatly missed.

Paul William Ruston

February 23, 1946-August 27, 2024

Paul passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side. Loving father of Jennifer Ruston (Rob) and Joanne Ruston, and special friend to Daniele Fleming. Grandfather of Meghan (predeceased), Ryan, Adya, and Kintan. Great Grandfather of Giselle and Axel.

Predeceased by his parents William and Marjorie Ruston (nee Crawford). Survived by his siblings Jack Ruston and Kathy Herron. Preddeceased by his brother Peter Ruston.

Paul spent his best years living in Key Harbour where he had a trap line and worked construction. He was a pillar of the community with knowledge of Georgian Bay and Key Harbour that he has passed on to many.

Paul will be missed by many good friends that he made over the years.

Jennifer would like to welcome everyone to celebrate and remember Paul on September 21, 2024 at the Midland Legion from 1-4 pm.
