Effective August 4, 2026, the Municipality of Killarney has declared a Fire Ban.
This includes all open fires and burning – including incinerators, cooking, and warmth, due to dry conditions. All burn permits are cancelled until further notice. No fireworks are permitted.
A previous fire ban ran from July 7-14 2026.
