The Key River Area Association (formerly the Key Harbour Association) represents a diverse group of 100 seasonal and permanent residents in northeastern Georgian Bay. Through several active committees and membership in the Georgian Bay Association, we work to promote the interests of our members to Government and other stakeholders. We aim to preserve our pristine corner of Georgian Bay for the quiet enjoyment of future generations of residents and visitors, alike.
Located on the northeast shore of Georgian Bay from Henvey Inlet to the Bustards. Our area includes the Key River, the Bustard Islands, the outlet of the Pickerel River, parts of the French River Heritage Park and the islands south to Henvey. This gorgeous area boasts an interesting historical past, some of the best scenery, wonderful sunsets, good fishing and the most remote isolation found anywhere on the Bay. The Key River Area is located approximately 80Kms south of Sudbury and 100Kms north of Parry Sound. The principal points of access are the marinas at Highway 69 where the highway passes over the Key River.
